Dream Ghosts with a Message
Part of being intuitive is being open to guidance coming from any direction. For me personally, I feel guidance coming from Mother Nature. Mother Nature is the source that creates everything, and I feel at my best when I am connected to Nature, so Nature is the source of my guidance.
Guidance comes to me in many forms. Last night, it came through my dreams during sleep. I dreamed I was visiting my in-law’s lake cabin up north with about 20 other people. While we were all inside the house, ghosts of deceased people suddenly appeared. The ghosts were angry that we were there, so they attempted to scare everyone out of the house. Everyone but me.
I remember that I felt scared of these ghosts, but I had an overwhelming urge to talk to them. I wanted to know everything about them. I wanted to know why they were there. But most of all, I wanted them to tell me about the meaning of my life. I waited for the ghosts to enter the room I was standing it. I told them I was struggling in my life with my uncertainty of my purpose. I asked them to share their wisdom with me.
One of the ghosts spoke to me: “You have nothing to worry about. You are always cared for. All of your needs will always be met, even if it doesn’t look like it right now. Your fears are only an illusion. Just be your true self and trust the unfolding of your life.”
When I awoke, I realized the meaning of my dream. The ghosts in my dream were spirits of Nature. Just as in the real world, the people in my dream were not open to receiving the guidance brought to them from Mother Nature, so they left. My willingness to stay and talk to the ghosts signifies my openness to hearing Nature’s guidance.
But why were the ghosts angry? It could be that their anger signifies my own internal anger towards the environmental degradation of the earth from agricultural practices and unconscious people. Perhaps the reason the people in my dream left the house after encountering the angry ghosts has two meanings. Anger pushes people away. True positive change occurs as a result of peaceful action. If I desire to help more people align with Nature, I must utilize love within my approach. I must release the anger that still exists within me from my years of work in conventional, large-scale agriculture.
The ghost’s message to me in my dream was straight from Nature. It was reassurance that all is well and I need not worry. It is so comforting knowing that I don’t have to try to be anyone else or do anything extraordinary. I don’t have to get anywhere. I don’t have to become this great spiritual leader or some master of raising animals. I don’t have to make a ton of money or get my own TV show. All I have to do is be who I am, exactly as I am, right now. Nothing more. Knowing this truth fills me with pure peace.
